Private crypto swap

Swap one coin for another without creating an account, without giving us your e-mail and, for standard swaps, without KYC. NoxSwap keeps only what it needs to complete your swap and deletes it on a fixed schedule. Below: what private means on NoxSwap, and how to anonymize a transaction with Monero in three steps.

Start a private swap

What keeps your swap private

  • No account, no e-mail required

You choose the coins, the amount and the address that receives the payout. There is nothing to register, and the e-mail field for status updates is optional.

  • No KYC for standard swaps

Standard swaps never ask for documents. Large or flagged swaps can occasionally get an AML check; if you decline it, the deposit is refunded without KYC, minus the network fee.

  • No IP addresses stored

Neither with orders nor in our statistics. Analytics are cookieless, and there are no advertising or cross-site trackers.

  • Order data deleted after 90 days

Addresses, e-mail and transaction hashes are removed automatically 90 days after the swap. Every order page shows how many days are left.

  • Coins go straight to your wallet

The payout goes to the address you enter. NoxSwap never holds balances, so there is no account that could be frozen or leaked.

  • Tor mirror, no JavaScript needed

The whole swap works on our official onion address and with JavaScript switched off, for example in Tor Browser on the Safest setting.

We don't know who you are

A swap on NoxSwap is private towards us: no account, no documents for standard swaps, no profile, no IP address on record.

The blockchain is a different story. Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and most other coins record every transaction publicly, so anyone can follow coins from address to address. Monero is the exception, and that is what the three steps below use.

How to anonymize a transaction: 3 steps through Monero

Monero hides the sender, the receiver and the amount of every transaction by default. Swap into XMR, move it within your own wallet, then swap out to a fresh address: the trail from the coins you send to the coins you receive breaks inside Monero.

Step by step

Your private route in 3 steps

The whole guide in one picture. Repeat it for every swap.

  1. 1

    Swap any coin to XMR

Have it paid to your own wallet, not to an exchange account.

    Swap to XMR
  2. 2Key step

    Send XMR to XMR

Move it to a fresh subaddress in your own wallet. Inside Monero, sender, receiver and amount stay hidden.

    • Wait hours, not minutes
    • Change the amount
  3. 3

    Swap XMR to any coin

From your own wallet, to a fresh address for the coin you need.

    Swap XMR

Result: nobody can stitch your swaps into one trail.

NoxSwap supports XMR in both directions, sent and received directly on the Monero network, with no wrapped tokens.

Habits matter as much as the service

Use a fresh receiving address for every swap, and send from your own wallet rather than straight from an exchange account. Fewer links between your addresses leave less to connect.

Keep your order link to yourself: anyone who has it can open the order page. And if you want to hide your IP address from every site you visit, not only from us, use Tor.

Questions about private swaps

Can a swap on NoxSwap be anonymous?

NoxSwap doesn't ask who you are: no account, no KYC for standard swaps, no IP addresses stored. On Bitcoin or USDT the transaction itself stays visible on the public chain. To anonymize it, route it through Monero in the three steps above: Monero hides the sender, the receiver and the amount.

What data does NoxSwap keep about my swap?

Only what is needed to run it: the pair, the amounts, the receiving and refund addresses, timestamps and the status history, plus your e-mail if you choose to enter one. After 90 days, addresses, e-mail and transaction hashes are deleted automatically.

Can a private swap still be checked?

Large or flagged swaps can occasionally get an AML check by the exchange executing the swap. You can decline it, and the deposit is then refunded without KYC, minus the network fee. Standard swaps never ask for documents.

Do I need Tor to swap privately?

No. Tor hides your IP address from every site you visit, which adds a layer, but NoxSwap does not store IP addresses either way. If you want it, the official onion mirror has the same rates and coins.

Is a private swap slower or more expensive?

No. It is the same swap: the same guaranteed fixed rate, every fee included in the amount you see, and the same speed as any other swap on NoxSwap.
