Godexgodex.ioNoxSwap vs Godex: rate locks, KYC and refunds compared
Godex has been swapping crypto since 2018, with fixed rates, no account and no upper limit on volume. Both services let you swap without registering and both support Monero and Zcash. The differences are in how long the rate holds, what happens to a flagged swap, how refunds work and where you may use them. Here is how they compare, checked against Godex's own published terms.

The differences that matter
How long the rate holds
Godex's terms fix the rate for 30 minutes after you create an order, about three times NoxSwap's usual deposit window, which helps if your wallet or exchange is slow to send. The catch: if the market moves 3% or more, Godex may take extra time to complete the swap or return your coins instead, at its choice.
NoxSwap holds its rate for the deposit window on the order page, typically about 10 minutes, and shows one all-in number: the amount that lands in your wallet, with the network fee and our service fee already inside it.
When a swap gets flagged
This is the difference that matters most. Godex asks for no personal data on a normal swap, but its terms let it refuse, postpone or cancel a transaction it sees as a risk, and its AML/KYC policy describes risk-based ID checks, such as a passport or driving licence. Neither document says what happens to your deposit if you decline.
On NoxSwap, standard swaps need no KYC. Large or flagged swaps can occasionally be picked for an extra AML check by the exchange that executes the swap. If you decline it, the deposit is refunded, minus only the network fee, usually within 24 hours. The one exception is a transaction suspected of links to illegal activity, which the executing exchange may hold until the case is resolved.
Refunds and small orders
Godex's refund policy is narrow. A refund is possible when the order shows the status Overdue and your deposit has arrived; you contact support with the order ID and its decision is final. Claims must come within 90 days, deposits below a minimum it sets are not refunded, and it advises against orders of 30 USD or less.
NoxSwap's minimum is about 50 USD worth of the coin you send, and the exact figure for each pair is shown in the widget before you create an order.
Privacy and where you can use them
Godex says it erases transaction data within a week (its homepage says two weeks), keeping an e-mail, transaction hash and address only while support needs them. That beats NoxSwap's 90 days, though NoxSwap stores no IP addresses, for orders or for statistics.
Godex's terms exclude the US and its territories, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Sudan and Syria; its AML policy adds Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Yemen and more. NoxSwap is blocked only in Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria. Either way, check the rules where you live before you swap.
Questions
Is NoxSwap a good Godex alternative?
Yes, if you live in the US, want a written refund rule for a declined check or prefer one all-in amount. If you need a 30-minute rate lock or a coin only Godex lists, Godex is the better fit.
Does Godex require KYC?
Not for a normal swap: no account and no personal data. Its AML/KYC policy still allows identity checks on a risk basis, and its terms let it refuse, postpone or cancel a transaction it sees as risky. On NoxSwap, declining a check ends in a refund minus the network fee.
Can I use Godex in the US?
No. Godex's terms exclude the US and its territories, along with Bangladesh, Bolivia and sanctioned countries. NoxSwap serves the US and is blocked only in Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.
Does Godex support Monero?
Yes. Godex lists Monero and Zcash, and so does NoxSwap. Both pay out straight to your own wallet.
